Maack’s House of Sushi is a concept sushi restaurant created to be an eccentric, colorful, funky social hot spot for young creatives and college students. I created the branding to be playful and colorful to mirror the conceptual interior of the restaurant, with various sketchy illustrations. The entirety of this menu is handwritten, including the copy. I was able to experiment with layout that involves a large amount of copy and content. I created a color palette that exemplifies the nature of the restaurant while not overwhelming the hand-drawn copy and illustrations.
